There isn’t much to this essential jig, but you’ll get a lot out of it.

How do you get a perfect joint when book matching and gluing up veneer? You use this shooting board. Clamp the veneer between the top and bottom pieces of this jig, and use a jointer plane on its side to produce invisible glue joints.
