Inlaid Rocker

Many rocking chairs from the Arts and Crafts period are big and bulky.

Here is a 1910 design from the Limbert Furniture Company that is a little more graceful. Most of the piece should be constructed with mortise-and-tenon joinery. The arms and rockers are really fun to make, and are designed to be constructed from bent laminations.
